November 2014 airportbusiness 37 UNDER Nathaniel "Nathan" Polsgrove: Father passed down his love of aviation Nathaniel "Nathan" Polsgrove says his dad passed his love of aviation on to him. He currently serves as a Special Projects Manager for the San Antonio Airport System (SASS). Polsgrove has been with the SAAS for eight years and has been in his current position for the past four years. As a Special Projects Manager, Polsgrove is responsible for the development and oversight of most of the SAAS's strategic planning and organizational development processes. Additionally, Polsgrove is responsible for the management and oversight of a variety of projects related to operational and emergency management at San Antonio International Airport. Polsgrove began his career in airport manage- ment in 2005 at the Williamsburg-Whitley County Airport in Williams- burg, Ky., where he served as Airport Manager for a year prior to accepting a position at the SAAS as an Airport Operations Supervisor. From January 2010 until January 2011, Polsgrove served as the Interim Airport Operations Manager for San Antonio International Airport prior to assuming his current responsibilities. Polsgrove received a Bachelor of Science in Aviation from Eastern Kentucky University in 2005 and an MBA from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2010. DID YOU KNOW?
