He earned his degree in Microbiology in 2004 from the University of Florida with intentions of purs- ing a degree in medicine, but decided to pursue a career in flying while earning his ratings on the week- ends as a hobby. In 2005 he became a CFI for Uni- versity Air Center and soon after was hired to fly blood products for Life- South Blood Bank flying a C310 on a nightly route throughout the South- east. In 2006 Morgan had built enough flight time to become a first officer with University Air Center's charter department and began flying in the right seat of a Citation 550. Within a year a captain slot became available and he was upgraded to captain on the Citation 550. In 2008 Morgan was asked to assist the former chief pilot with his duties and through experience gained was asked to be the chief pilot in July of Demonstrating exceptional initiative, Jason learned to fly at his own expense, slowly adding flight hours and ratings until he earned his Certified Flight Instructor rating. Approaching 2,000 hrs of flight time, Jason moved to our air charter department as a co-pilot. He later upgraded to captain, and today, at not quite 30 years of age, is the Chief Pilot for UAC Charter. — William A. Pokorny Jr, University Air Center 2010 at the age of 27. During his ini- tial tenure Morgan re-wrote many of the company's manuals including the GOM, MEL, RVSM and Training Pro- gram for University Air Center's Part 135 operation as they were lacking and outdated. He also became compliant with TSA's TFSSP. Morgan manages 17 pilot's, two crew bases (KGNV and KCRG) and eight aircraft including a Citation I, Citation II, two Citation SII's, Citation V, two Eclipse EA500's, and a Cirrus SR-22. University Air Center specializes in the medical transport of human organs for many of the hospitals in Florida as well as patient transport for Shands Hospital at The University of Florida. Morgan is currently working with FAA on implementing iPad's in the cockpit and is actively working on an SMS program to enhance the safety of operations as most of its missions are at night. hizlane Badawi is cur- rently responsible for ongoing develop- ment and implemen- tation of enterprise risk management; assistance with annu- al strategic planning process develop- ment and facilitation; management of ABIA's participation in ACI's Airport Service Quality (ASQ) customer sat- isfaction survey program, including benchmarking and data analysis; and various business process consulting and assurance projects geared to add value to the organization. For FY12-13, Badawi is focused on continued implementation of the organization's enterprise risk management program and integrat- ing it further into the strategic plan- ning process. Badawi has also assisted the organization in developing and implementing a strategic planning approach for special events. Above all, Badawi is dedicated to continuous improvement in the performance of the airport. She is a collaborative team player and never tires of "going above and beyond" to help airport personnel and divisions achieve their objectives, with the ulti- mate goal of exceeding performance targets and customer expectations. Badawi holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, with a major in Finance and a minor in International Business. She also holds a Master's degree in Business Administration.
