26 airportbusiness November 2014 UNDER Robert Osborne: Living his aviation dream Downtown Airport Manager Shreveport Airport Authority Age: 33 Years in Aviation: 10 Robert Osborne is living his aviation dream. As Manager of Special Projects with the Shreveport Airport Authority, Osborne is responsible for the administration of the airport's Capital Improvement Program, serves as the DBE Liaison Officer, oversees the development of the airport's master plan, and manages the Airport Noise Compatibility Program, airport security and NAVAID rehabil- itations, and the implementation of several sustainability in- itiatives. His past positions include Design Engineer for AT&T; and Operations Manager for JP Morgan Chase & Co. Osborne is a member of the Louisiana Air National Guard and has deployed in multiple support and humanitarian efforts. He received a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Southern University, has participated in sponsored research for Georgia Tech Research Institute, and is completing gradu- ate studies at Louisiana State University in Shreveport. Stacy Kuba: Airports are her home away from home The airport was once Stacy Kuba's favorite place to visit. Now as the Downtown Airport Man- ager for the Shreveport Airport Authority she gets to go there every single day. In this role, Kuba oversees the day-to-day operations of the largest general aviation airport in the state. She also serves as the Project Man- ager for the Downtown Airport from project conception to com- pletion. Kuba is an accredited airport executive and a member of the Southeast Chapter of the American Association of Airport Executives. In addition, Kuba serves as the legislative liaison with the Louisiana Airport Managers and Associates. Kuba has 10 years of experience in airport management. She has served as Operations Superintendent for the Shreveport Airport Author- ity and as an Operations Coordinator at Morristown Municipal Airport in New Jersey. She is a graduate of Embry- Riddle Aeronautical University's Daytona Beach campus where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Communications and Master's degrees in Aeronautics focusing on Human Factors Engineering and Aviation Safety.
