Cobb County Airport will be the first Atlanta metro-area general aviation airport to offer on-site U.S. Customs inspection and staff, with customs services available in 2015. The new Hawthorne Atlanta FBO has more than 500,000 square feet of hangar space capa- ble of accommodating up to G-650, a 6,000-square-foot passenger terminal, and first class amenities such as pilot lounges and conference facilities. Hawthorne Atlanta also fea- tures extensive services for pilots including computer flight planning, weather service and after-hours fuel and emergency services.
